Moonwalk
The moonwalk is a move where the dancer moves backwards while appearing to move forwards. It was popularized by Michael Jackson when he first performed it at Motown 25 in 1983. It became one of his signature moves so much so that you can't mention the moonwalk without his name coming up. The dance has suspected origins in a move performed by tap dancer Bill Bailey.
In Action
Since the moonwalk is so iconic, we've included a video of it's predecessor instead. This is Bill Bailey performing at the Apollo Theatre. The similar move starts around 0:49.
